Places to Meet-up

Without a proper community civic center for clubs and groups to meet, new groups and clubs will need to make due with what is currently available. From the research I have done, the only affordable options are meeting at restaurants. Below are a few location ideas in Modesto. If you know of any places not listed below, please send me an email and I can add it to this page.

Denny's - About half of the restaurants are open 24 hours a day. Currently the Stanislaus County Coin Club meets there. This might be a good fit for smaller groups.

Mountain Mike's Pizza (2720 McHenry Ave, Modesto) - This location has an area in the back that can be used for groups. It is free to reserve, they just ask that people make some kind of purchase. It is consistently busy on the weekends, so more practical to have meet-ups on weekdays.

Round Table Pizza (3848 McHenry Ave, Modesto) - This location has a similar sized room as Mountain Mike's, it can also be reserved for free, but requires that there are at least 10 paying customers.

Old Mill Cafe (600 9th St, Modesto) - There is a banquet room here that can be used for a private group of about 40 people to have it all to themselves. Otherwise it would be open to any other patrons. There is no cost to reserve the room, it is just expected that people make a purchase. The hours at Old Mill Cafe are 6AM - 2PM, so only good for meetings in the earlier part of the day.
